Therapeutic approaches

Our therapists tend to bring different strengths to what we offer, but we  all pride ourselves in working with our clients collaboratively to determine what is best for you.  We are mainly humanistic in our approach, in that we believe that everyone has the right to make their own decisions about their lives, but sometimes need a little help to get there. Our job is to provide that help, that facilitation if you will.  Sometimes this may mean taking a person-centred approach, sometimes psychodynamic.  Sometimes we will look to cognitive and behavioural therapies such as CBT or third wave approaches such as ACT and DBT.  It all depends on what is best for you, and we strongly believe that our eclectic approach, based on extensive training and experience is the best way to achieve that.
